Seth is currently getting his masters in education and at the same time a football coach. He usually does everything on his desk such as school work, watching football films, plays video games, doing illustration and design work, and listening to recorded podcasts.
Seth's goal was to have an efficient space that doesn't stress him out with clutter. He wanted an open area where everything can be organized and neatly presented.
Seth didn't want a million bars supporting the desk but needed it to be stable. Finding the balance for him was a challenge. He used a sturdy piece of plywood that would have little bend or warping and steel plumbers pipe. Overall, it was a solid build for him.
Seth's advise to everyone is to make sure to get a beveled edge. A hard 90-degree edge is not comfortable on your forearms.
